graduate

feel

a
sea
turtle
that’s
been
swimming
in
foreign
waters

years,
only
to
come
back
to
the
beach
where
I
was
born.
The
journey
has
been
long
and
arduous,
but
I’ve
learned
so
much
about
life
and
the
world
in
the
process. Living
abroad
has
opened
my
eyes
to
different
cultures,
ideas,
and
ways
of
living.
It
has
given
me
a
broader
perspective
on
life,
and
helped
me
understand
and
appreciate
the
diversity
of
our
world.
I’ve
also
learned
a
lot
about
myself,
my
strengths,
and
weaknesses,
and
what
I
want
in
life. At
the
same
time,
being
away
from
home
has
made
me
appreciate
my
roots
even
more.
I’ve
come
to
realize
that
no
matter
how
much
I
love
the
places
I’ve
been
to,
there’s
no
place
like
home.
The
familiar
smell
of
the
ocean,
the
sound
of
seagulls,
and
the
warmth
of
the
sun
on
my
skin

make
me
feel
like
I
belong. As
I
slowly
make
my
way
back
into
society,
I
find
myself
struggling
to
adjust
to
the
fast-paced
life
of
the
city
I
call
home.
It’s
hard
to
keep
up
with
the
constant
rush,
and
I
often
feel
like
I’m
swimming
upstream
against
a
current
of
stress
and
anxiety.
But
I
remind
myself
that
just
like
a
sea
turtle,
I
need
to
take
my
time
and
find
my
own
pace. While
the
journey
has
been
challenging,
I
wouldn’t
trade
it
for
anything.
Being
a
sea
turtle
has
given
me
the
perspective,
strength,
and
resilience
to
navigate
the
ups
and
downs
of
life,
no
matter
where
it
takes
me.
And
for
that,
I’m
grateful.
